Rob Charette is the Vice President of Pacific Park Financial, Inc. Rob ensures that the company’s operations are running smoothly – from database management to reporting to vendor relations. Most importantly, Rob makes certain that every client receives extraordinary personal service.
Rob began his financial services career as an analyst for a large money management firm in 2000 in Huntington Beach, California. He quickly gained experience in everything from operations and active portfolio management, to copy writing and co-hosting a financial talk radio program. It was then that he first began rubbing shoulders with an up-n-coming radio personality, Gary Gordon (a.k.a. the “G-Man”).
Rob worked his way up to Vice President at his corporation over the course of 7 years. At the same time, he continued to explore opportunities that might expand his knowledge base. In November of 2007, he accepted a position to manage two offices in the greater Los Angeles area for a multi-billion dollar Registered Investment Adviser. Later, in January of 2010, he transferred to a boutique wealth management and financial planning firm in Pasadena.
Throughout the years, Rob kept tabs on Gary’s rapidly growing RIA based in Orange County. And by March of 2012, Pacific Park Financial, Inc. enthusiastically extended Rob an offer that he could not refuse… do what you love and do it close to home!
Rob’s path to Pacific Park Financial has been filled with invaluable lessons. Educationally, he earned his Finance degree from California State University at Long Beach. Professionally, he had witnessed firsthand (and second-hand) the inadequacies of “buy & hold.”
Rob married his best friend, Courtney, in 2008. They have one son, Blake, and a newborn on the way. When he is not in the office, Rob can be found on his mountain bike at the local trails here in Aliso Woods or on his beach cruiser, with Blake and Courtney in tow, along the boardwalk in Newport Beach.
